# Azure Migration Foundations

Azure is often the control plane behind a successful Microsoft migration. We design and build the identity, automation, integration, storage, observability, and cost controls needed to support the move and operate the environment afterward.

## Core capabilities

- **Identity and access**: workload identities, app registrations, PIM, managed identities, and secret management
- **Migration automation**: Functions, Logic Apps, Automation Accounts, queues, storage, and CI/CD pipelines
- **Integration patterns**: Microsoft Graph, APIs, scheduled jobs, data handoffs, and secure service principals
- **Networking and security**: private endpoints, ingress patterns, vNETs, firewall rules, and zero-trust controls
- **Observability**: Log Analytics, alerting, dashboards, audit-friendly logs, and operational runbooks
- **Cost control**: budgets, tagging, right-sizing, and cleanup after migration utilities are no longer needed

## Blueprint to operate

### Migration support architecture

Build the Azure helpers needed for orchestration, reporting, validation, notifications, and high-volume processing.

### Operate and evolve

Add alerting, ownership, cleanup procedures, runbooks, and backlog discipline so the environment remains supportable.
